So I got 2 new female cats for Christmas and we need some named for them! One is 2 years old, orange/light brown and white on her neck and belly, the other is 1 year old, dark grey and white the names need to be SHORT (like 2 syllables) we have tried a few, but none stick!
A bit of advice for you, if they are anything like my cats they'll basically name themselves. No matter what name you give them they'll earn a different one.
My oldest cat originally was named Shadow because the color of her fur allowed her to disappear in the shadows, within a month or two her name had changed to Nipper because she loved to wrestle around and give these playful little nips in the process.
Just give them the chance and they'll show you what they should be named!
lol actually, after a few days we started to call one of our cats Spaz because she is hyper, but we still don't know what to call her! funny that we can't come up with a name because our previous cats, we named right away
Amber, Copper, Onyx, Garnet, Topaz (I love stones and named my dog - which is orange - Jasper) Ginger, June and July or Yin and Yang (sorry, couldn't help myself), Nala... sorry for my lame list but there are cat name websites. Are these rescues?
lol love your Yin and Yang suggestion XD I have looked on several website, but I get bored going through all of them XD one of the cats was found 2 months ago as a stray and the other one (who is only 1 year old) had kittens already, but they were taken away at an early stage, so she got very depressed they tried to reunite them later, but she tried to kill them I 'm not sure if she was stay, but I am guessing so. I will look up some stone names too! thanks for that idea!
I can see getting tired of looking. I like Yin and Yang too, it also works with their coloring. Ah, poor stray but I must say it's weird about the one that had kittens and then wanted to kill them - must be a weird instinct.
